Plump Parents
Parents contain a wholesome of vitamins namely advise, determination, caring, loving, beating, scolding, chatting, enthusiasism, self respect, and so on and so forth. I could go on and on about this, but the crux of it is the oodles of joy we have in ourselves being their children is all I'm driving home here. Come what may, whether its our bad marks in school, or a little mischief at home or outdoor, they are always there to support us, in someway or the other. That's why I call them the Plump Parents
We often feel they are too old-fashioned to compete with our gaining knowledge on this IT freaked world. Or to get home late after a party. Or you drive away to glory in a drunk state and keep them on pins. It all boils down to your arrogance about why they can't live to understand your life rather than bugger up with each and every moment.
Have you ever thought it from their side. In what sense would they be looking at your progress in life. Well, all said and done, they surely are looking at a brighter side of the world for you, the only difference being, they are looking at it from their point of view. That's where the line lies. So, happy Parenting to all you lovely parents and happy loving your parents, you youngsters.
Dedicated to my lovely Parents. Dada and Mama, I love you. Thankyou for all that you've gone through for me.

God's beautiful creation : A woman
It's amazing how God made man, and so beautiful how he made woman! Why did God create Woman from Man's rib, when He could
have simply created her from dust, as He did Man? This is a story that puts a beautiful touch on the reasoning:
"When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him from the dust of the Earth and breathed life into hisnostrils. But you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you. Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do."
"Around this one bone I shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully. Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicateand fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath oflife. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body."
"You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side. You are my perfect angel. You are my beautiful little girl. You have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtue in your heart. Your eyes: don't change them. Your lips: how lovely when they part in prayer. Your nose so perfect in form, your hands so gentle to touch. I've caressed your face in your deepest sleep; I've held your heart close to mine. Of all that lives and breathes, you are the most like me."
"Adam walked with me in the cool of the day and yet he was lonely. He could not see me or touch me. He could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me, I fashioned in you: my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love, my protection and support. You are special because you are the extension of me."
"Man represents my image, woman – my emotions. Together, you represent the totality of God. So man:treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she isfragile. In hurting her, you hurt me. What you do to her, you do to me. In crushing her, you only damage your own heart, the heart of your Father and the heart of her Father. Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self."

Reactions are instinctive
Suddenly, a cockroach flew from somewhere and sat on her. I wondered if this was the cockroach's response to all the glory that was spoken about it! She started screaming out of fear. With panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started doing stationary jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach. Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group got cranky to what was happening. The lady finally managed to push the cockroach to another lady in the group. Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama. The waiter rushed forward to their rescue. In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter. The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt. When he was confident enough, he grabbed and threw it out with his fingers. Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, "was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behavior? If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed? He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos. It is not the cockroach, but the inability of the ladies to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach that disturbed the ladies." I realized even in my case then , it is not the shouting of my father or my boss that disturbs me, but it's my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me. It's not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me. More than the problem, it's my reaction to the problem that hurts me

Good Culinary Habits
Let's begin with;
1) Hand Wash
Washing our hands, importantly with a good anti-bacterial liquid soap is so basic, yet so important. I despise using a soap bar. Nowadays with the health articles circulated in almost every nook and corner of media, all our favourite supermarkets and grocery stores do have these on their display shelves. Please do help yourself to a good one. Make sure you have one at your kitchen sink and wash your hands well with the same before and after cooking. Tendencies are of leaving the kitchen on other errands, should also bring us back to washing again and only then begin work at the kitchen.
2) Save Table Top Space
Well, for those who do not have a large kitchen, could save place by arranging their cutlery and vessels in an amazing fashion. I have pics to suggest you some ways.
3) Chopping Boards
Always keep a separate boards for chopping your veggies and non-veggies. Non-veggies are generally prone to pick up bacteria rapidly, hence its always advisable to have individual boards for the veg and non-veg.
4)Plastic Box Re-use
These days, the plastic microwave reheat boxes are so famous in the market, that just anyone and everyone owns a micro, so as to pop stuff in and heat them for some jiffy work. NO! Please do not harm your health by allowing such a daily routine. These plastics contain toxins that can be released into your food while heating and hence endanger your health. Also excess usage of Microwaves expose you to radioactive waves. Again, dangerous to your health. A one time use of the plastic is just perfect. All the better to discard them, if you have any sitting in your kitchen drawers.
Apart from these, I would also like to share with you some tips that Mum passed on to me, over the years, they go as;
* In order to keep your coriander and curry leaves fresh, refrigerate them in a neat and clean box respectively, with tissue paper. This will help to absorb the moisture and hence you will be able to retain fresh leaves to use for your food.
* You could speed up the onion frying session, which is most essential for all your dishes, by adding some table salt to the onions that are being sauteed.
Well I hope I did interest your kitchen etiquette's with this little post of mine. As for now I conclude, some more soon..until then Bye Bye :)

In our ancestors time, they would communicate with eachother by sending messages through a pigeon's beak. Then came the so called "Babu's chitti", or posting of letters written with great tears of joy, and posted with great impatience. Then came the sms'ng on mobiles...and now we step into the computer age, where in greetings cards are sent to your email inbox instead of your postmail. How strangely has time changed...Oui!
Changed??? Or should I say evolved into a new way of communicating a message.
Thats the reason why I believe in Technology being a making of man and blessing of God.......Adios!!!

The Taj Mahal Palace
This is a glimpse of the The Taj Hotel on our last trip to India. The Taj stands tall and proud, aside the Gateway of India. Its shrouded in dark grey cloth at certain places that are still under renovation. This brings back memories of the Mumbai attack on 26 November 2008. The shivers that run down one's spine while standing watching this magnificent architecture and thinking of those terrible gruesome moments that took place here. The whole world was watching that attack and the aftermath on television vide the news channels. To think of the lives that were taken. People who might still have the horror in their minds of that day. But the criminal act couldn't lessen the watchful beauty of this awesome historical Hotel.

Blogging
Computers have always been real fantastic man made piece to me. I have always wanted to reconnect myself time and again with things to work at the comp. Its been a long way since I started out working in a new place, independant, working, travelling and taking care of myself. In addition to earning my monthly wages, I would always venture out into the market and have a look at the latest mobiles or would check out the laptops. Soon thereafter, I invested in my first laptop, which was a lovely black Toshiba piece. I can remember myself drooling over those excel sheets or playing that computer game. I created my first personal blog site today and am thrilled to fill it with loads of writings and wish to achieve something good from this. Adios......Catch u later!
